Re-telling the Tales
Brain Injury Matters
13 - 21 May, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
2 Royal Avenue
A visual art exhibition that re-interprets local tales, myths and folklore.
The artists from Brain Injury Matters were asked to explore local tales, myths and folklore stories and then visually re-interpret elements of those tales, or whole stories, that had personal resonance for them.
They are delighted by the opportunity to showcase their artwork at Belfast City Council's new Creative and Cultural Space, '2 Royal Ave'.
The exhibition will be presented as a series of large-scale drawings using a range of materials: pencils, pens, inks and mixed media
Brain Injury Matters (NI) was established in 2013 as an independent regional third sector organisation supporting, promoting and empowering those individuals and families affected by acquired brain injury.
Gallery opening hours: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday to Sunday.
